Happy Thursday – I hope you are doing well. Due to the jobs report and inflation data, rates have trended up this week and are in the low to mid 6% range. However, I am seeing that a lot of other lenders have higher rates right now. Please do me a favor: If you know anyone who is currently shopping for a home, please send them our way so we can give them a second opinion.
Also, due to low inventory we are seeing multiple offers on properties, and if you don’t structure your contract terms correctly you probably won’t win. If you know anyone who has made multiple offers and has not won, please send them over to us for a second opinion as well. We are currently doing a 21-day close with 5-day due diligence and no appraisal or financing contingency, and it is helping our clients win.
