Happy Thursday – I hope you are doing well. Good news is the fed met yesterday and even though they raised the fed funds rate, mortgage interest rates went down to the lowest we have seen in months. In other news, we are already seeing multiple offers on most homes. For this week’s video, I want to discuss what you need to do to make sure your offer is the winner.
Listen to your Realtor - Inventory is still low in Atlanta so it is not a market where you can offer below listing price on most properties. Consult with your agent but the offers we are seeing get accepted are offering list price and in some cases, putting in an escalation clause.
Make sure you get fully pre-approved with a local lender – Once preapproved, we can do a 21-day close with 5 days due diligence and no appraisal or financing contingency. This will make your offer stand out above the rest.
